Feel easily overwhelmed, snappy, or emotionally reactive?
Find it hard to relax, rest or switch off?
Feel disconnected from their body and emotions?
Struggle to focus or stay present?
Use screens or busyness to avoid discomfort?
If you notice this in your teen, you’re not alone.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens (MBSR-T)
Does your teen ..
An 8-week program to equip teens with emotional resilience
What does MBSR-T teach?
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) works from the inside out.
Rather than telling teens to “calm down” or “try harder,” it helps them:
Notice what’s happening in their body before emotions or stress take over
Understand early warning signs of overwhelmLearn how to pause instead of react
Build awareness of thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations
Regulate their nervous system in simple, practical ways
The MBSR-T program helps teens learn mindfulness skills to better manage stress, regulate emotions, improve focus, and respond to challenges with greater awareness, resilience, and self-compassion. Life skils they will take into the rest of their lives.
MBSR-T Origin
MBSR-T is informed by research led by Gina Biegel and colleagues on mindfulness programs for adolescents.
