A Family Experience for the Digital Years
The world is moving fast.
Childhood doesn’t have to.
You’ve seen it: kids getting smartphones younger and younger.
Phones and social media can build a wall between our kids and the world.
The same children who once did cartwheels and raced to raise their hands now huddle over their screens, barely noticing each other.
You know you don’t want that for your family.
The Phone Savvy Experience
A guided online program where families learn, connect, and navigate the preteen and digital years together.
Rooted in science and heartfelt wisdom, it helps you:
Stay close to your child through the preteen and early teen years
Equip them with critical thinking, empathy, and perspective-taking skills for the digital world
Delay smartphones with confidence - without isolating your child
Create a home life full of shared, memorable, offline experiences
Join a global community of like-minded families
Watch videos created for parents-only, or together as families.
Reflect, chat, and share, with the help of easy to follow prompts, activities and workbooks.
Discuss ideas & celebrate breakthroughs in the online community.
What We’ll Cover
All along this path you get to connect with other families (if you want) and share your successes and ideas.

Bringing joy, connection, and wisdom to the digital years.
About Dr. Fiona Ghiglione - Founder of Phone Savvy
An educator, and mum of two girls who is passionate about guiding families through the preteen years with wisdom, connection, and joy.
She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Sydney and has spent more than 20 years working with young people and their parents across the globe.
Currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Berklee Valencia, she is also a mindfulness researcher and certified instructor of both MBSR and MBSR-Teens. As the founder of Mothering Girls, she has spent the past eight years creating experiential programs that enrich the preteen years and help families navigate this unique stage of life with confidence.
Her deep belief in the potential of young people—and the role of parents as guides—shapes everything she creates.
When she’s not working with families, you can find her climbing rock walls, running trails, singing jazz or spending time with her husband and girls.
